Steps to update to LILDBI-Web 1.7 in WINDOWS
This procedures may be used to update from LILDBI-WEB 1.6 only.
It has not been tested with previous versions (1.5, 1.4, 1.3, ...and DOS version)

PRE-REQUISITES:

A. Hardware and software
    1. To have a web server installed (*);
    2. To have the PHP (**) installed and configured with the web server;
    3. To have the LILDBI-WEB 1.6 installed and operating correctly.
    (*) We recommend the use of Apache 1.3.x or 2.x (tested until 2.2.2)
    (**) We recommend the use of 4.4.xx version; it doesn’t operate in PHP 5.x

B. Technical knowledge
    1. Advanced knowledge of the operational system Windows, configuration and net administration, web server configuration, installation of application software

Update to Lildbi-web 1.7
These procedures are only to LILDBI-WEB 1.6 that are not customized. 

STEPS

1. Make backup of instance LILDBI-WEB that will be updated. 
  
			
			bases\lildbi\*
			cgi-bin\lildbi\*
			htdocs\lildbi\*
			
2. Unpack the file LILDBIWEB-windows-1.7_Update.zip on a temporary directory (example /tmp). 

It will be created the following directories structure:

	bvs-+
            |- htdocs
            |- cgi-bin
            |- bases


After, go to the directory where the update package of lildbi-web 1.7 was unpacked. In this example we will use the folder /tmp.

3. Verify if you have permission to make the files and directories copy.

Make the copy of all folders and files of \tmp\bvs\htdocs\ to \usr\local\apache\htdocs\
Repeat the process with the directory \tmp\bvs\cgi-bin\ copying to folder \usr\local\apache\cgi-bin\
Repeat the process with the directory \tmp\bvs\bases\ copying to folder \usr\local\apache\bases\

With these procedures, the files of version 1.7 do LIDBI-WEB system will be copied over the files of the last version, but preserved the users’ data of certified records, not certified and upload documents.

4. After executing the procedure above, on same PROMPT space, go to directory bases\lildbi\dbcertif\lilacs\

Verify if the LILACS files.* have write permission 

and execute the following procedure: 

update-invert.bat [ENTER]

Verify if the procedure in Script didn’t show any error message. 

Procedure to generate the new index according to 1.7 version and to erase the LILACS.cip file to be set up to the new installation.

5. Access the system’s setup page in a browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc), adding \lildbi\install\setup.php to the url and follow the described steps to configure the system in your server

e.g.:     http://localhost/lildbi/install/setup.php


6. Through a browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc) access the LILDBI-WEB (e.g. http://localhost/lildbi/index.htm), and choose "Database administration" 

	a) Acess with the administrator profile and, in the report service, verify if the patch of the files are right. With this procedure, the configuration database will be updated and the file LILACS.cip will be created. 	

	b) Acess with the editor profile and make any search just to verify if the index were created correctly. With this procedure the configuration database will be updated.

Note: If you want the system to be totally updated to 1.7 version, all the steps must be accomplished.
