Steps for installing Timeline 1.2beta on Linux:

PRE-REQUISITES:

  1. Have a Web Server installed (tested on Apache 1.3 and 2.2);
  2. Have PHP installed (tested on version 4.4.8);
  3. Have configured your php.ini to use the extensions: expat and sablot;
  4. Have your web server configured with PHP.


Starting installation of Application

Unpack using the command with the following options:

 tar -zxpvf [package name].tar.gz

Copy the files into linhadotempo/* directory to your webroot respecting the current directory tree (bases, cgi-bin and htdocs)

Assuming your webroot is located at: /home/applications, the end of decompression we have the following the following:

/home/aplications/
        htdocs/timeline
        htdocs/isisws
        cgi-bin/gizmo
        cgi-bin/WXIS-modules
        bases/timeline

In htdocs/timeline/beans is due to withdraw ".template" and edit the files:
 htdocs/
       timeline/beans/proxReg.cfg.template -> timeline/beans/proxReg.cfg
       timeline/beans/evento.cfg.template -> timeline/beans/evento.cfg
       timeline/beans/timeline.cfg.template -> timeline/beans/timeline.cfg
       timeline/beans/user.cfg.template -> timeline/beans/user.cfg

Replace /path/to the path to your webroot directory and servername for the domain will be the site where the Timeline.

About Permissions:
Suggests to change the Owner of the files to the User that Apache uses.
Setar if necessary folder bases/timeline recursively to 777 and 775 for cgi-bin and htdocs.
